For Participating Attorneys

Attorney Participation Terms

Last updated: October 2026

These Attorney Participation Terms describe how Legalory works with licensed attorneys and law firms who apply to receive consumer-initiated legal inquiries through the Legalory platform. Submitting an application indicates agreement to these terms.

Review Pending

These terms are presented in draft form. The automatic-purchase, prepaid-billing, and exclusivity provisions below are undergoing external legal and attorney-advertising / lead-referral compliance review and may change before activation. No attorney is enrolled in automatic purchases or billed until they separately authorize it in the attorney portal.

About Legalory

Legalory is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Legalory is a lead-referral and matching service that connects consumers who submit legal inquiries with participating, independently licensed attorneys. Legalory does not practice law, employ attorneys, or form attorney-client relationships on behalf of any party.

Eligibility

  • You must be a licensed attorney in good standing in every jurisdiction where you accept inquiries.
  • You must accurately disclose your practice areas, jurisdictions, and geographic coverage in your application.
  • Legalory reserves the right to review, approve, decline, or pause any application or participation at any time.

How Leads Are Shared

When a consumer submits a request, Legalory reviews the information and, when appropriate, assigns the inquiry exclusively to one eligible, authorized participating attorney. Each inquiry is assigned to a single firm on an exclusive basis; the firm's exclusive right to that inquiry is confirmed regardless of payment status. Legalory does not guarantee any particular number of inquiries, case quality, case value, conversion rate, or revenue. Attorney participation is voluntary and flexible.

Attorney Responsibilities

  • Respond to shared inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Comply with all applicable rules of professional conduct and advertising in your jurisdiction(s).
  • Do not misrepresent Legalory or assert that Legalory endorses a particular attorney or guarantees an outcome.
  • Handle consumer information in accordance with applicable privacy law and these terms.
  • Do not share internal Legalory communications or consumer information with third parties without authorization.

No Attorney-Client Relationship Through Legalory

An attorney-client relationship is formed only through a separate, written agreement between a consumer and an attorney. Legalory's role is limited to facilitating an introduction. Legalory is not a party to any attorney-client relationship and is not responsible for the legal advice or services provided by any participating attorney.

Fees & Billing

Billing arrangements (such as per-lead fees, prepaid credit balances, or monthly plans) are established separately at the time of approval and before lead delivery begins. Participating firms may fund a prepaid wallet balance; the agreed price for each assigned inquiry is charged against that balance when the inquiry is assigned. Firms that separately authorize automatic purchases in the attorney portal may be assigned and billed for inquiries that match their stated practice areas and geography without a separate manual acceptance. Legalory may change its fee structure with reasonable advance notice. Unpaid balances may result in paused lead delivery.

Confidentiality & Data

Consumer information shared through Legalory is provided solely to help evaluate and contact the consumer about their legal matter. You may not sell, rent, or redistribute consumer information. Legalory retains the right to retain, use, and anonymize submission data for operational and analytics purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.

Termination

Either party may discontinue participation at any time. Legalory may suspend or terminate participation for violations of these terms, misleading conduct, or lapse of licensure. Outstanding obligations survive termination.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Legalory is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legalory is not liable for the conduct, advice, or outcomes associated with any participating attorney or any consumer inquiry. Legalory does not warrant that any inquiry will result in a retained client, favorable outcome, or any particular value.
